Due to different interpretations of the REAC protocol, the inspection process and compliance requirements can be unclear to property owners, agents, and management. With NSPIRE, things have become increasingly complex. We at TFI will take the guesswork out of the process. By equipping our clients with the tools and information to make the best decision concerning their inspection and property needs, we’ll ensure it counts before it counts.
Our 100% and sample compliance inspections not only simulate your REAC/NSPIRE inspection but identify crucial deficiencies that could make or break your future results. With tenants’ safety being of major concern, units and safety has become a heightened focal point. We will cover five inspectable areas: dwelling units, site, common areas, building systems and building exterior under the UPCS standard. NSPIRE will cover three separate areas, dwelling units, inside and outside inspectable areas.
Your Pre-REAC compliance inspection and results are done weeks before your official HUD REAC inspection is required. Because HUD only gives a 28-day notice, it’s prudent to be proactive in doing your Pre REAC inspection months before the anniversary of your last property inspection.
